Tens and thousands of grads threatened by fictional loan companies

The SLC even allegedly created a fictional company, referred to as Smith Lawson and Company healing Services included in the hoax – and has now delivered huge number of threatening letters to graduates within the last nine years demanding payment.
The caution letters delivered by “Smith Lawson and Company” are designed to intimidate graduates, and so are emblazoned with a banner that is red checks out: “DO never DISREGARD THIS LETTER.”
The bogus letters provide the impression that they’re from a debt-collection that is separate to figuratively speaking Company, and read: “We are instructed by our customer, regarding the the amount outstanding shown above”.
